A pair of cups that's made to be together. Wheel-thrown porcelain, painted by hand.
On the "A-sides," lines from the poem 'Wild Peaches' by Elinor Wylie, written in blue uncial script: We shall live well — we shall live very well.
On the "B-sides,” two details pulled from the 15th c. tapestry 'The Arrival of Jeanne d'Arc in Chinon'.
An unlikely duo, and making the most of unlikely circumstances.
The cups are sold as a pair. Each cup is approximately 9 cm tall and 8 cm across (11 cm including the handle). Trimmed flat foot and signed underneath.
