A pair of cups that's made to be together. Wheel-thrown porcelain, painted by hand.
On the "A-sides," lines from the poem 'Ash Wednesday' by T.S. Eliot, written in blue uncial script:
Lord, I am not worthy Lord, I am not worthy but speak the word only.
On the "B-sides,” two details pulled from Fra Filippo Lippi's 15th c. painting 'The Annunciation'.
Why are we chosen to receive good fortune? But we accept, accept.
The cups are sold as a pair. Each cup is approximately 8.5 cm tall and 8.5 cm across (11.5 cm including the handle). Trimmed flat foot and signed underneath.
