A pair of cups that's made to be together. Wheel-thrown porcelain, painted by hand.
The images painted on the two cups are inspired by figures and elements in Joseph Pickett's early 20th century painting 'Coryell's Ferry'.
The river runs, and the wheel turns, and the trees sway. The houses stand, and the deer looks, and the swans swim, one, two, three.
The cups are sold as a pair. Each cup is approximately 9 cm tall and 8 cm across (12 cm including the handle). Trimmed flat foot and signed underneath.
