About / News / CV

I was born in Poland, raised in the USA, and am currently based in Montréal, Canada.

I received my B.Sc. in psychology from McGill University in 2007 and my Ph.D. in cognitive psychology from Northwestern University in 2014. From 2014 to 2016 I was a postdoctoral researcher in cognitive neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania.

I am a behavioral science consultant studying how the built environment impacts people: their cognitive function, productivity, feelings, comfort, and well-being.

I’m a digital associate editor at the Psychonomic Society and am starting a blog called Minding Design to explore the intersection of cognitive science and design.
